Marinate for at least one hour.
3 T soy sauce
3 T brown rice syrup
3+ cloves garlic, minced
1 T fresh ginger, grated
4 large portobello mushrooms, stemmed
Combine marinade ingredients in small bowl; mix well.
Pour marinade over mushrooms (stem side up in a baking dish) and marinate for at least one hour.
Grill mushrooms, 4 minutes per side, on prepared grill. Brush excess marinade on mushrooms every few minutes.
Serve on bun with desired toppings, or slice and serve over a salad.
Super easy! One of my favorite marinades!
