1 cup walnuts
1 cup pitted dates
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup shredded coconut for garnish
Line an 8x8 or 9x9 pan with parchment.
Place all ingredients, except coconut, in food processor and blend until dough forms. Add a teaspoon of water if too dry.
Press mixture into pan and refrigerate for at least one hour.
Cut into bite-size squares and sprinkle with coconut flakes.
I also like to serve with strawberries or raspberries. It's a great flavor combination with the chocolate!
